With each new book my writing improves. I have no intention of using A.I. to write. There is something about sitting at the keyboard with a blank screen and editing that is personal. It's between the characters and me. I always hope that readers feel a personal connection with characters in a story. Maybe in the future I'll try A.I. for proof reading. But only for proof reading...
People have encouraged me to record my own audio books. Although I worked as a radio announcer, it is difficult for me to listen to a recording or myself.
I used A.I. for text to audio books as part of beta test at Google Books. The A.I. is not writing the stories, it is only doing the text to audio.
Three books are completed text to audio.
Below are individual links for each audio book at Google Books.
Coming from Darkness
Bristol
Ages Past
Here is a link for e-books. At the Google Books website, click on a book cover then "Switch to the audiobook" for the audio downloads. Both e-book and audio are listed as free for July and August 2024.
It's a learning curve and beta testing, so the text to audio is not perfect.
Leaving star ratings, and or reviews helps push the books in the algorithms, thanks...

Side notation: Past couple of months, the U.K is beating the U.S. in number of downloads of both audio and e-books. Audio and e-book, Coming from Darkness is leading the pack in both countries. I suspect people are downloading both the audio and e-book at the same time.
