Asleep At The Wheel - "Hot Rod Lincoln" [Live from Austin, TX]
epo333, I saw that Hot Rod Linclon zipping past. Lots of songs about cars... Mustang Sally is another popular one.
Mustang Sally was written by Mack Rice, released 1965
1966, Wilson Pickett recorded Mustang Sally
Both versions of the song are good.

Singer-songwriter-guitarist David Crosby, a founding member of two popular and enormously influential ’60s rock units, the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash (later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), has died, his representative says. He was 81 years old.
RIP

Mine too CasperParks! I'd like to think their music kept my feet on the ground.
Short story . . . When my oldest daughter got married, I paid for a pricey 7-piece band, they gave me a list of "Father/Daughter" dance music of which I didn't see anything to fit my bill (so to speak). To my surprise they offered to learn any song I had in mind. After thinking about that for a few days, I called the producer and said how about Teach Your Children by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young!
His Reply was. Wow, that's a perfect number for a Father/Daughter dance, should have been on the top of our list!!!
I still tear up a bit when I hear it. Its not easy giving up a cherished creation!
