I just found this vintage piece on Facebook. People are trying to figure out who is singing it. Any ideas?

A search brings up next to nothing. This is one of those "mysteries". Apparently it is not a recording that is listed anywhere so it more likely is a promotional recording or a radio performance that wasn't released as a single. In the 1930s there were many singers that sounded like that. Good candidates are: Bob Lawrence with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra from a radio show or Dick Robertson (singer) and His Orchestra (studio musicians). In that era, if you guess something to do with either Paul Whiteman or Guy Lombardo you have a good chance of being right since both were all over radio and recording and hired many musicians, famous or unknown. I'm posting these as leads for any other puzzle-solvers out there. I'm going to keep searching. It will probably turn up a couple of years from now.
