Our Solar System and its Magnetic Field

I have a quick question, just wondering if someone here might be in this field and have an answer.

Does the Sun have a magnetic field that surrounds our solar system, and does this field act like a wall to outside objects? For instance, if an object, such as a craft, were trying to get to Earth from another star system or deep space, would this craft have to slow down and break through a barrier? Can a craft approach the center of our solar system from any angle? Or does a craft have to approach our system from the 'edge of the disc'?

The Sun has a magnetic field and this field heps carry the Solar Wind outward toward the Heliopause where the Solar Wind joins the galactic gasses. As the Sun's magnetic field is considered farther and farther out from the Sun it becomes weaker, and less critical to the daily flow of the Solar Wind. The Sun's magnetic field is in no way a wall, how would Comets come in all the way to the Sun if it were such a wall. And, thus, any craft which approaches the Sun will have little trouble and it's trajectory will only be altered to a minor degree depending how much iron, iron-nickel it is composed of. The angle of approach is not a consideration as the magnetic field of the Sun is spherical, not oriented to the diec of the Solar Plane.
