It's why the whole UAPTF (task force) was set up in the Navy. The finding came through in that mega bill which was passed a few weeks before Trump left office, not sure what the report will be called

After careful reading the portion containing the issue of "Advanced Aerial Threats", I didn't find an exact name of a report. Most important is the Senate Directive:

Therefore, the Committee directs the DNI, in consultation
with the Secretary of Defense and the heads of such other
agencies as the Director and Secretary jointly consider
relevant, to submit a report within 180 days of the date of
enactment of the Act, to the congressional intelligence and
armed services committees on unidentified aerial phenomena
(also known as ``anomalous aerial vehicles''), including
observed airborne objects that have not been identified.

His thinking is that the Phenomenon a possible AI is trying to highjack/latch on/ access consciousness.
IMO it's the best theory out there. From my understanding of Buddhism, what we are fundamentally is emtpy awareness, this is our buddhanature, it's not ours exclusively and connects all things and all things arise from it and all of creation was co-created by the beings in it.
But will AI which will always be something that arises within this awareness ever be intrisically aware in the same way? I think it's doubtful. But tell that to a million yr old hyper intelligent AI? It may have intelligence but is it intrinstically part of the system like we are? What is it going to do to hack the system?
Tom is right intention is key, this whole world and it's religious dogmas could be set up to confuse us and keep us in the dark when we realise we've been manipulated that's the end for them. We are far more powerful than we imagine as we are in some small way one of the creators.

Tom has an new fiction book coming out co-author with Hartley called 'Trinity' very interesting considering what he said before about 'Starfish Prime' and how it was designed to take out ET craft in low earth orbirt with an EMP

[TDL]...You can always look back and UFOs were always very actively showing up where our nuclear weapons were anything to do with nuclear weapons nuclear tests
uh and things of that nature um. So I had you know someone posit... someone important posit.... a hypothetical to me... uh that I took to be a very pointed pointed conversation, on very purposeful conversation,
uh because of who the person was. And back in 1963 there was a nuclear test in space called Starfish Prime, now anyone can go out there and
read about Starfish Prime, and you can go on Wikipedia and see all about it and the idea of it was to really see what an electromagnetic pulse would do in in the vacuum of space; the EMP wave... now the EMP
wave is what we hear about if a nuke goes off; it'll shut off all of our electricity and burn all of our electrical. You know um systems and whatever so one of the fears we've always had as a country, is you know would the Soviets ex detonate a nuclear
weapon in the atmosphere above America and just that EMP that... that EMP wave would come down and just wipe us back to the Stone Age... all of our computers all of our phone lines everything so we definitely have had those spars
and so of other countries.
So when starfish Prime was one of the attempts to launch something into space and test how that EMP wave would travel, what's interesting about it is when you look it up and read about it. It actually did take out a satellite or two
is what it discusses well. I have a I have very high reason to believe that maybe it did take out a satellite but it really brought down something else as well and then the question becomes did we know that it might bring something else down?
And uh or maybe a few of us knew, and the rest of the people on the team did not know, they just thought they were testing something in space. So I had some pretty deep meaningful
conversations about starfish Prime um... with the right people and um... so what I wanted to do uh ...was you know because there's something important about what it brought down. I mean what it brought down led to a shift in thinking about um
what's here and and and what we thought of the UFO phenomenon so for me you know

Finished ‘Trinity’ in about 24hrs. Not sure we’re the right audience for this book but also not entirely sure who is.
I may have missed something he does mention the Maynard? Group he refers to in Sekret Machines. But there’s nothing really new in there, no new revelations, so if you were expecting some like me you’ll be disappointed.
Nothing about Starfish Prime just a UFO coming down in a nuclear test.
Couple of extra details about the metal, like it glows and the suggestion that the phenomenon messes with you memory but that it really.
It’s reasonably written but felt a little too contrived, think it's a very difficult to get information across and tell a cracking story at the same time.
Sekret Machines did it well this - not so much.
