Russia and Ukraine come to a peace accord over the Crimea situation.
The Aleppo situation works out a lasting cease fire, with a peaceful resolution possible.
China & Taiwan iron out the "one china" issue, and become trade partners, a economic powerhouse is born.
The USA enters prosperous economic times due to President Bush's Trump's new appointments & policies empower business within the country.
The DOW hits 30,000

President Bush? Well, that's an interesting prediction!

Personally, I don't think there will be a President Trump by this time this year. I expect his presidency to last months. Not for any specific reason, just a strong sense that that will be the case.

For 2017 there will likely be more terror attacks - possibly even in the US. This will likely result in hostility and possible violence against refugees.
Temperatures will also rise, though hopefully we will be able to reverse the trend soon.
On a scientific note some say that if there is a 9th planet it may be discovered as soon as 2018, it would be cool if they can find it.

Well hopefully nothing as bad as the Paris or Pulse nightclub shootings, but as to Where or When I have no idea.

In the coming years I predict that America will become increasingly polarized, and also possibly engaged in another war, most likely in the middle east. Russia will be emboldened and possibly invade more countries that were formerly part of the USSR.

I don't usually make these type of "Predictions" but do feel compelled on this one...

There will be a large airliner type plane (US ONE or Trump private plane, perhaps) crash land into an airport terminal or shopping mall, or buildings similar to those, perhaps this year.

If this happens, well, it might also be a lucky guess on my part . . .
