To be clear. None of the news stories have been focused on ET disclosure.
In all the recent news coverage it has been "There is something out there, and it is not us. They appear to be much more technologically advanced than we are."
For now, the message seems to be; we need to prepare for a confrontation in case "they" prove hostile.
Seems more of a money/power grab, than an outright move toward disclosure.
Plenty of armchair researchers speculating, but it will be interesting to see what public official is first to advance ET as the likely source of UAPs in MSM.

Well, just keep in mind that "disclosure" will cause the fabric of society to tear apart in different directions.

In my mind, there is an agenda aloft when looking at this playing field. I can take an educated "guess" that Israel is going to be falsely narrated as an enemy of Human cohesion and agreement. The three major faiths (Jews/Christians/Islam) are very likely going to appear to be both discounted and yet confirmed at the same time.

I predict different people will see the same thing, but interpret it VERY differently.

Those who have doubts in their Faith will crumble away as soon as they see "other life". They'll decide in their hearts (foolishly in my opinion) that the current "scientific narrative" is correct. Causing people to fall away.

I expect the "ET" will come around to later confirm the three faiths (and then some of the others) but on their own terms. Metamorphizing into an all inclusive (not so obviously malevolent) narrative.

Ultimately, I take a wager a big rip is about to form in the fabric.

There are going to be some nasty times ahead. I can only imagine what people will do when they are deceived (twice) into thinking their version of reality is confirmed and they can finally "lift the shackles" of the three faiths from restraining them. (Biblical Pun on the "Restrainer"/Holy Spirit stops restraining)

I haven't yet fully decided what exactly my position will be in regards to the "ET" when they become public figures. I wonder what I should do? My instincts tell me I should run and hide or fade away quietly.

As sticking around and contradicting any "ET" narrative doesn't sound like too much fun especially if they now have free reign. In fact, I wouldn't be surprise if it will sooner or later it'll be against the law to do so. Garuda and the others should probably start thinking about what will happen to the forum and it's content should "a certification license requirement" for "hosting online discussions" should come about.

Alot of the content on these forums might be pulled, purged or removed under strict future discussion guidelines mandated by law. Not that Mods themselves would, but the host and datacenter might have their arms twisted to comply in the matter of many hosted websites and pull the forum until the Admins come into compliance.

Discussions on what to do if "content" control in online discussions and other platforms comes and rears it's head should probably be started sooner rather than later. I don't envy the Mods and Admins in having that discussion about what they could even do in such a scenario.

Going a bit OT here.
There are so many schools of thought on ET motivation that it boggles the mind.
It is hard NOT to Anthropomorphize ET.
My personal view leans towards the "ants in the jungle" POV.
ET has his own agenda, and is uninterested in what those industrious sub-intellectual life-forms are doing... unless they interfere.
Call pest control, if humanity threatens to infest the bases that have been intentionally buried well without reach of normal human activities.

I often wonder why ET doesn't simply pickup the phone (radio?) and call in a "Hello".
It would be so much less dramatic than a "Landing on the White House Lawn", and would serve the same purpose.

I suppose the question gets easier if there are multiple species of aliens. Given that it's not the physiology that matters, but the ideology, they should share in some of the same ideological variations that we have. In that way they should act much like our own nations, where singular traits such as being war like or benevolent, are mitigated by opposing traits from other nations. Such a configuration provides strong checks and balances which minimize the actions any one nation can take. You might have aliens like the Assyrians who are powerful in strength that want to conquer, but other aliens like the Babylonians are stronger in trade and can restrict them through diplomatic ties. Each species would be powerful, but with so much counter pressure, actions by an individual species would be minimized, rather than drastic. As powerful as they are, most of that power is tied up in resisting the dominance of other species, leaving little in remainder to effect Earth. If you think about our own modern world, what does it take to invade a country? There are so many international implications for every action that other countries are in large part only influenced remotely, passively, and covertly, despite having more than enough power to affect them.

All these releases might just be a lead-up to technology that militaries already have, or the next stages of what they have been covering up for ages.

Hopefully the release(s) next month aren't going to be more covering up, muddying the waters more, etc.
