I can see they did not renew the domain, I've also just checked the wayback machine:

As well as the obvious problem of Adobe flash deprecation, I note that later days show more and more problems with graphical elements failing.
I'm wondering to myself, has the maintainer died?

Another site which has run into problems, at least for me, is https://www.uaptheory.com/
Cloudflare, in this case, can be run freely, but it's not able to talk to the real provider. In turn, they may be under attack.

Very interesting this happens in the same timeframe.

This may take a bit longer than anticipated, as there are some unexpected complications.
(The hosting company was taken over by another company, who does not use the same domain registrar. It would seem the domain was transferred to a different registrar without our knowledge).

If you regain control, Cloudflare have a nice deal where they register domains at cost, can't really get cheaper than that.
However, I'm of two minds as to which domain registrars will be working in the potentially near term, so it might be worthwhile using one which has multi-country presence; not solely US owned.
