They didn't disavow the subject just didn't confirm anything, not a single case.
Nelson admitted he'd been briefed on classified stuff, as we all know, but that should have been the first question the journos asked.
He apparently sat in on the Senate Intel Comittee or another Classifeid comittee and heard firsthand reports and saw the classfied proper footage.

He was also dimissive of Grusch which was disapointing as surely he should know better.
Maybe he missed the briefings by others inside the retrieval and backengineering programs to Congress

I know everyone has been panning the Peruvian mummified aliens largely because they were presented by Jamies Maussan but he is the key driver of the project.
The team is from Peru and although he's been a supporter it's not his project.

This is the actual project website and it appears pretty thorough. Gaia made 10 part series on them, unfortunately another questionable organisation after they promoted Corey Goode for so long but who knows?

If anyone is interested in getting the low down of the bodies this is well worth a watch. Jimmy and and Melissa Tittl have both been following the SA mummies since 2017. Melissa helped make the doc series for Giai. Neither of them are taking an opinion either way. The smaller bodies seem more questionable but Maria they claim has many interesting anomalies.
