    Four episodes have been released.
Viewers are getting to know the plot-line and characters.
Directing, filming and casting are excellent.
    I think it's worth watching...

Andor takes place prior to the events of Rouge One.

Can't wait to see this when it comes out.

Fun trivia item: the day after its showing in Sundance, it got a 10/10 score on IMDB.

Posted, January 31st 2023. Series is based on a video game. I am not familiar with the game, so unable to compare it. Both game and HBO Series are getting positive reviews. The writing, casting, directing and filming are excellent. Season one will have a total of nine episodes. A second season was renewed by HBO.

The rating on IMDB - in the 3 range - is not very promising, nor are the reviews.

    Have you watched it?

I watched the first episode. I give a new series three or four episodes to gain their footing. Lot of reviewers call the crew teenagers. For the most part, the crew are young adults. Reviewers calling them teenagers are not paying attention to the story-line.

The following is in the trailer, so no spoilers. A long space journey and crew suddenly awakened from cryosleep prior to arrival. Something impacted their ship, causing major damage.

I understand why people are leaving bad reviews. It will come down to how the story-lines are told. Character relationships. Will they have surprise alien encounters? Discoveries of new star systems and planets?

Certain aspects of a teaser at the end of episode one are intriguing. At this point, it's a wait and see if the series gains its footing.
